Hacketstown (village)

Hacketstown is a small village that is just on the Carlow side of the Carlow-Wicklow border. It is around 8km from the Wicklow Way. The village has several grocery shops, pubs, a chemist, a barber and a Chinese Restaurant.

There are two buses which serve the village on a limited basis. JJ Kavanagh runs a twice daily service linking the village to Carlow Town and Bus Eireann run one bus a week through Hacketstown from Rosslare Europort to Dublin City Centre.
