Knockananna (Cnoc an Eanaigh - the Hill of Marsh) nestles on the borders of County Wicklow and Carlow. The village is the centre of a dispersed farming area, 2km to the north-west of Moyne and the Wicklow Way. Although there is a grocery shop and a pub, there is no restaurant in the village. However, the two local guest houses are highly recommended for evening meals.
