Wilderness Lodge is a walking base for groups of 8-16 people. It is ideally situated at the central point of the Wicklow Way in Glenmalure making it possible to walk the entire trail without needing to pack bags every morning.

The complex consists of six self-catering lodges and one cottage, all with direct outdoor access. All the lodges face west overlooking Carrawaystick Mountain. Each unit sleeps two people with the exception of one lodge that sleeps 4 people. "An Tigín", is a standalone cottage that is separate to the rest of the lodges. This is an ideal double room for a couple.

Within each lodge, there is a kitchenette that is equipped with a two-ring hob cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle as well as pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. It should be noted that because there are no shops in Glenmalure supplies should be bought before arriving.

With a minimum booking for 8 people, an adjacent hall will be made exclusively available to the group. This communal area can be used for sharing mealtimes together as well as socialising in the evenings or even the extra space for sorting out walking gear. An instructional video on hill-walking safety will be made available to view before setting out on the Wicklow Way.

The Glenmalure Lodge is an alternative to self-catering and is only a one minute walk away. Food is served throughout the day.

Wilderness Lodge will organise all of the transport needs for walking the trail. Prior to arrival, the minibus will collect visitors direct from Dublin Airport or Dublin City Centre and stop enroute to Glenmalure, allowing time to buy supplies for the trail. Every morning the group will be transported to the start of each stage and then collected from the end where necessary.
