The Wicklow Way

The second edition of the Wicklow Way by Rucksack Readers was printed in 2008. It is one of an international series of long-distance walking trail books by the Scottish publishing company.
This 64-page spiral-bound book comes with a durable fold-out map. The whole publication is waterproof which makes it ideal for consulting whilst out walking on the trail. With 80 high-quality colour photographs, the book serves as a nice souvenir to fondly look back over after completing the Wicklow Way.
A comprehensive description of the Wicklow Way is written from North to South. In addition to trail directions, there are helpful sections on planning the walk and a broad overview of Wicklow. This includes information of the local geology, history, wildlife and flora.
