28th-31st October 2011. This Festival is based in the Brockagh Resource Centre between Laragh and Glendalough. There are a wide selection of walks on offer to suit various fitness levels. In addition to the regular guided walks are some themed walks that include night hikes, a yoga walk, an outdoor digital photography workshop and a nordic walk.
Evening entertainment includes a Céilí of Traditional Irish Music and set-dancing and a second night of dancing entitled 'My Rhythms Dancing'.

15th October 2011. Wicklow is home to a large population of wild deer. They are particularly impressive in autumn when they 'rut'. National Park staff shall have telescopes set up on the Spinc walking trail between 11.00am and 4.00pm. Anyone walking on this route is welcome to stop by, view the deer through the telescopes and discuss the deer and their ecology with our staff.
2nd October 2011. A number of free events will be taking place along the Wicklow Way on National Trails Day. The principal villages participating in the day are Enniskerry, Glendalough and Glenmalure.
