Bridge across Dargle River has been fixed!

10th November 2011. As a result of the recent heavy rain and flooding, the footbridge that crosses the Dargle River in Glensoulan Valley has been damaged.

A Moon Light Challenge on the Wicklow Way

12th November 2011. The Moon Light Challenge hopes to raise funds to complete the Glen of Imaal Mountain Rescue Base just outside Laragh. This 26km challenge walk will take place during the full moon in November, and will mostly incorporate the Wicklow Way.

The Glendalough Trail Race

5th November 2011. This race aims to raise funds for Fighting Blindness. The route is approximately 15km long over some superbly scenic forest trails in the Glendalough area. Only 500m of the race is on tarmac!
