In these modern times, generations of people are growing up with no knowledge of wildflowers. Come on a gentle stroll and learn how to identify some of our August wildflowers such as foxglove, bramble, marsh thistle, spear thistle and honeysuckle. Learn and a little bit about their ecology, folklore and uses.

Date: Saturday, 13th August 2011. From 11.00am.

Location: The Education Centre, Knocksink Wood Nature Reserve, Enniskerry.

Practicalities:This walk is for adults only. No dogs. The walk will last 1 - 2 hours, but we shall be strolling at a very gentle pace and not venturing very far. This event is free of charge. Free car parking will be available.

Booking: Booking is essential. Each walk is limited to 30 places. To book, please phone (0404) 45656 (Mon to Fri) or 0404 45425 (Sat & Sun). Bookings will be taken from Sat 30 July.
