Wild Plants of Benefit to Butterflies and Bees

Learn about which plant species are important to the life cycles of butterflies and bees. Discover how they can be incorperated into our gardens to enhance native biodiversity. A short presentation will be followed by a gentle stroll in Knocksink Wood Nature Reserve, looking at the plants, butterflies and bees.

Date: Saturday, 13th August 2011. From 2.00pm.

Location: The Education Centre, Knocksink Wood Nature Reserve, Enniskerry.

Practicalities: This walk is for adults only. No dogs. The walk will last about 2 hours. This event is free of charge. Free car parking will be available.

Booking: Booking is essential. Each walk is limited to 30 places. To book, please phone (0404) 45656 (Mon to Fri) or 0404 45425 (Sat & Sun). Bookings will be taken from Sat 30 July.
