Mountain Meitheal Work Day in Knockree

Sunday, 24th July 2011. 10.30am

Wicklow Way at Knockree

Our next work day will be Sunday 24th July 2011 in Knockree. We will be working on the Wicklow Way at Knockree repairing a section of trail which is seriously eroded. The work will include the construction of stone steps, log steps, water bars and bench cutting. If you are a regular volunteer we are looking forward to seeing you out again. If you have not come along before then why not give it a try?

Please meet at 10.30am. Come prepared for a day in the hills, be prepared for all weathers, wear appropriate footwear. A pack lunch is advisable including a hot drink. A change of clothes is recommended for the homeward journey. Mountain Meitheal will provide the tools and gloves. Why not bring a friend - new comers are always welcome!

You can also help out by forwarding a link to this webpage to any of your friends that you think might be interested in supporting Mountain Meitheal! The first step is easy - just turn up! We are always delighted to meet new volunteers.
