Family Bug Walk in Glendalough

Saturday, 11th June 2011. 11am & 2.30pm.

Our bug safaris have always proven hugely popular with both adults and children. Get up close and personnel with beautiful butterflies, ferocious dragonflies, cute little ladybirds, and love 'em or loath 'em spiders! Due to popular demand, we are offering this walk twice - once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Location: The Information Office, by the Upper Lake, Glendalough.

Practicalities: Adults and children welcome. Family friendly, although not suitable for buggies. No dogs. Participants should bring a jar with a lid to help examine the bugs. This event is free of charge, but please be aware that the Upper Lake car park (Wicklow Co. Council) has a €4 charge.
