Woodstock is a friendly establishment on the southern edge of Roundwood village, close to the Main street with its selection of shops, pubs and coffee-shop/bistro. Arriving guests are welcomed with Tea or Coffee and maybe a friendly chat with John the proprietor.
In addition to the Wicklow Way, Roundwood offers several shorter walks for those wanting to take a break from the rigours of the long distance trail. Enjoy a rest day by taking a casual stroll around the Vartry Reservoir on the sign-posted Slí na Sláinte trail or visit the spiritual sculpture trail at Victoria's Way.
Wicklow Way walkers are advised to approach Woodstock from the Ballinafunshoge area to avoid the busier road going to and from the Lough Tay/Pier Gates and Sally Gap area.
