Lough Dan House is a newly-built family farmhouse offering spectacular views of the lake and mountains from every window. The house has under floor heating throughout and offers drying and laundry facilities.
Wicklow Way walkers can use Lough Dan House as a permanent base, and avail of a transport service to the start of each day’s stage of the trail, with pick-up and return to base in the evening to a nice relaxing hot bath, followed by a most enjoyable home-cooked meal.
Besides the Wicklow Way Lough Dan House is an ideal base for several other local loop walks over mountains and through remote valley, all waiting to be explored from the door-step. These are very easy to navigate on your own with the carefully prepared route maps provided by the Byrne family.
