Pinewood Lodge is a spacious modern dormer bungalow, situated in a quiet wooded location just off the Wicklow Way. The pubs and restaurants of Laragh village are just a few minutes walk away, whilst the Brockagh Centre is next door, where guests can catch up with their emails. Alternatively, free wi-fi access is available throughout the house for guests with Internet-enabled laptops or mobiles.
All of the bedrooms are en-suite and have TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The large lounge on the ground floor is provided solely for guest use and offers vistors a comfortable space to relax after a long day’s hike. Here guests will find a TV with satelleite channels, radio, books, magazines and lots of information on the local area. Breakfast is served in the adajcent dining room with an extensive menu to choose from.
The valley of Glendalough is just over a kilometre away, where one can choose from a selection of hill-walks or woodland trails and visit the historical site of St Kevin's Monastery. Alternatively, guests may enjoy a spot of mountain-biking, which can be organised through Pinewood Lodge. Hosts Michael and Mary have a wealth of local knowledge and are more than happy to help guests plan a day in the local area.
