Brook Cottage was originally built for workers on the Powerscourt Estate. The house has now been adapted to cater as a Bed and Breakfast, with all the bedrooms having ensuite bathrooms.
Set in spectacular surroundings, there is a magnificent panorama of Djouce, Maulin, the Tonduffs and Knockree. Guests are invited to sit out on the deck area and bask in the beauty of it all.
Brook Cottage is convenient to the Wicklow Way, and lies roughly half-way between the trail and Enniskerry. A courtesy lift is offered to weary walkers to pick them up from the trail and to drop them in the village to enjoy an evening meal.
A second day here will allow time to visit other top Wicklow visitor attractions, including Powerscourt House and Gardens, Powerscourt Waterfall, the Glencree Reconciliation Centre and Ireland's World War II German Cemetry.
Guests wishing to stay longer can avail of the self-catering studio apartment to use as a base for exploring the region more thoroughly.
